The Galaxy Nexus is still one of the most popular phones out there, despite being superseded by the Nexus 4. Luckily, you can root it with just a few clicks thanks to a program called the Nexus Root Toolkit. Here's how it works.

The Nexus Root Toolkit is pretty simple to use. You will need a Windows PC (so if you don't have one, borrow one from a friend), but everything else is pretty self-explanatory. You can find more detailed instructions on the app's home page, but essentially, you'll just need to install the program, launch it, click the Drivers button, back up your apps and data if so desired (since rooting will wipe your device), then use the Unlock and Root buttons to unlock your bootloader and gain root access. From there, you can download ROM Manager from the Market, from which you can flash the ClockworkMod Recovery, make nandroid backups, and flash custom ROMs. The Nexus Root Toolkit can also unroot your phone if you decide rooting is not for you.

The Toolkit should get you pretty far, but for more info on troubleshooting, ROMs, themes, and more, check out the Galaxy Nexus forums over at XDA Developers.

How to Root Galaxy Nexus I9250 on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS

1. First, you need to download the root package (use the link from here) and the Super User file (the download link is here).
2. Save these files on your computer.
3. Connect your device with the computer and copy-paste the downloaded files from the computer to your Nexus.
4. If ADB is installed on the PC, open command prompt window (start -> run -> cmd) and on the window that will be opened enter the following commands: “ADB Device” and “ADB Reboot recovery”.
5. Unplug the USB cord.
6. If on your computer you haven’t installed the ADB tool, then turn off the phone.
7. Reboot by pressing the Volume Up, Volume Down and Power buttons at the same time.
8. From the menu that opens select “recovery”.
9. Now, from the recovery menu, select “install zip from SD card” followed by “choose zip from sd card”.
10. Pick the root package and then the Super User file you have downloaded before and start the root operation.
11. In the end, select “+++go back+++” and “reboot system now” and you are done.

Make sure your Android version is still 2.3.5 or 2.3.6 (factory default)

The first step:

The second step:

• Turn off the phone
• Turn back simultaneously by pressing the power button on / off, Volume up button and the Home button to go to recovery mode

Note: In the Recovery mode you can only use the buttons: Power on / off as Back, Volume up / down as the Scroll up or down, and HOME button as OK or Select.

• Select aplly update from SDcard
• Select the CWM-Jelindonesia.Zip then you will go into CWM Recovery mode
• Select Wipe Data / Cache then select Yes - Delete All
• Select Wipe Cache Partition and then select Yes - Wipe cache
• Select Install Zip from SDcard
• Search using the scroll button / buttons Volume Up / down writing called JELINDONESIA.Zip, see? Click OK / Select and wait until the installation process is complete.
• After the install is complete, go back and pilihRebooting, then your phone will do 2x the Reboot, Reboot Process approximately 5 minutes, wait until your phone to Auto Life.
• Done and enjoy your Samsung Galaxy Young S5360 Jelly Bean Android OS 4.2.1

How to Root Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 s6500

Without lingering simply provide the following materials:

1. Odin3.zip. download HERE
2. clockworkmod-jena-5.2.0.8.tar.md5. download HERE
3. Root Galmin2.zip, download HERE

First, Install CWM on Galaxy Mini first 2 you:

1. Download clockworkmod-jena-5.2.0.8.tar.md5 and Odin3.zip from the link above.
2. Odin3zip Extract and open Odin3 v1.85.exe diextract in an existing folder.
3. Turn off the HP. Connect the USB cable to the PC, then go to Downloadmode by pressing Power + Home + Volume down
4. At Odin 3, put clockworkmod-5.0.2.8.tar.md5 that was downloaded on the PDA.
5. Press the Volume Up button on the HP then click the START button on odin
6. Once completed, it will reboot itself HH and CWM installed.

Second, the process of rooting.

1. Download Root Galmin2.zip of the link that has been provided, and enter into the sdcard (Internal Memory)
2. Turn off the HP, go into Recovery Mode by pressing Power + Home + Volume Up + Volume Down.
3. In Recovery Mode, select Install zip from sdcard, then select choose zip from internal sdcard, then locate and select the file that you have entered Galmin2.zip Root said. Then select Yes.
4. Wait for the process to finish and reboot on your Samsung Galaxy Mini2  .

Here it is the result after on your Samsung Galaxy Mini2  at-root, there Superuser app.

To test that a successful rooting please download the backup software like Titanium Backup and Root File Browser from Google Play.
